| September at Fraker /Scott Gallery East by West, September 2 - October 2 First Thursday Artwalk opening night is Sept 2nd, 6-8pm --- Artist's Reception Saturday, September 25 / 6-9pm A collection illustrating how Asian sensibilities and imagery informs the work of our local Northwest artists. Eastern influences are invoked through the printmaking and fabric arts of Mona T.Smiley-Fairbanks, paintings and encaustics of Nancy Thompson. Introducing stone carvings by Jim Ballard. Also showing new work by our gallery artists: each with their unique viewpoint of East by West: Kate Steiger, Sue Robertson, Barbara Wyatt, Mike O'Day, Lynn Garka, & Michelle Montjoy.
